Somehow, a mix breed creature such as one would have been thought impossible if humans still lived, but she was one who liked the solidarity of being alone. Even the smallest of company aggrivated her sometimes, but she didn't mind it. Rynn was a bat hybrid, medium sized but with the making of an assassin if she chose to be. But she was a type who preferred only quiet places and preparing for what lies ahead. Or could it be because she was just afraid of what could happen.
Her small claws tapped softly upon the ground that was soft from a few nights rain. She stopped at a small pond to drink and relax for a few hours, maybe even stay the night. She didn't know which he wanted yet, but she would figure something out while she swam. She remained to the side of the pond drinking her fill. Once taking her fill, she dived in, letting the cool water rush about her.

The rushing of water filled his ears with delight, as thirst had plagued his dry throat. How long had he desired the taste of fresh liquid to pierce through his parched lips, gliding down his throat. Shoulders shifted unevenly in a imp-like gate, breaking through the trees and into the clearing.
Eye to eye he stood before the unusual creature, who was neither a bat, nor raccoon, cor cougar. What was this strange thing? A hybrid in this part of the wood? He kept his ground, tail pressed close against his belly. For a male, Asama was unusually cowardly, and infamously lazy. But male Hyenas usually were.
However thirsty Asama was, he must wait his turn on the river's bank, patiently watching the beast dive into the water's surface. His jowls dripped with saliva, but to him it tasted dry. An eruption of whines fell from his jowls, not daring to make a move which would offend the animal.

She literally jumped backwards and into the deeper water, when she turned around and saw the hyena behind her. She splashed backwards, wings failing to grab air to stay upright. She sank to the bottom of the river, shifting her body around, she perched n a small river stone and opened her wings. Pushing off with both wings and legs, she shot through the water with surprising speed. She landed with near grace on a boulder and shook her fur out, spraying water everywhere.
She turned her intentions to the hyena who stood before her, still surprised anyone would've come out this far to swim in the river. Her auds twitched as she kept looking at him and listening the ruckus the birds were making around her. Though she was part cougar, she was rather small due to being two small creatures in blood. Her plume twitched a couple times before going back to its resting place.
